Market center...

Think that refers to Bonzi. Or a veteran SG/SF. Since we technically don't have any experienced swingman outside of Artest right now. An experienced wing will be on the team w/ Artest whether it's Bonzi or someone else. With Martin starting if it's the latter, and that guy being a 2nd/3rd man.

guess they think with Douby/Hart/Price/Bibby on the roster we don't, but it is not certain who will be the back-up PG. Douby? I'd think occasionally like Petrie said, but that can change as time goes on. Hart? Could well be traded, or be a 3rd guard. Price? who knows. I'd like to see us get a guy with some time in the league for back-up PG. Even with Douby here. Who will play more at SG than PG, I'd think, but both spots.

And here I thought we needed a backup Point guard--what was i thinking...Seriously though, the only way we need another shooting guard is if Bonzi walks or if Martin gets hit by a truck while watching porn.

i have another very unpopular idea to fix our problems.... lets assume that either hart or douby will be the back up pg... lets hope that justin williams pans out and is our shotblocking big....

why dont we let bonzi walk (if we cant trade him) shift artest to sg and throw the entire mle at radmonovic? it improves our outside shooting and we get a reliable starter to replace bonzi... hope fully we can trade thomas for anyone... and let that be done with...

bibby/douby
artest/martin
vlad/garcia
reef/anyone but thomas/williams
miller/williams

sounds good and cost effective....

Um...

Justin Williams or whoever makes it out of the 5 bigs in the VSL won't be our only interior defense move... that's just ridiculous, quite frankly. Just totally blow off summer dealings for experienced defensive bigs and go to to war with Miller/SAR/Justin Williams/someone un-named? Highly doubt we just get Justin Williams for our interior defense.

Getting these 5 bigs to join the team and then getting one or two of them outta camp is a nice move in the right direction, but won't be the end of our moves for interior defense. For a team looking to get back into the tops of the NBA and a playoff team.

If Bonzi's gone, the most likely scenario is we get a vet. wing to replace Bonzi's expereince, as a 2nd/third man, while Kevin Martin starts.

Miller/SAR/Vlad is a bad, soft, weak starting front-court. SAR is the only one who can defend down low. No rebounding, no shotblocking - at all.

No offense, but that proposal is just garbage. :p

Radmonovic? No thanks. I think he's looking to get paid more than the MLE too. Plus horrible with who we already have in our front court, downgrade from Peja with the same group last year, and that worked wonders.

The thought of basically replacing Bonzi with Vlad Rad makes me want to puke! Lets just go for it all the way and get Peja back!

Or better yet, keep Bonzi.
