Lionel hollins will not return to Grizz

Did I miss something? Didnt the grizz just go to the wcf? This makes no sense to me. Philosophical differences? If the guy is winning I keep him around.

Even before WCF it was rumored Grizz ownership was not thrilled about resigning Hollins to long-term contract for big bucks - which is surely what he wanted. When they got unexpectedly swept by Spurs he was even more likely to face criticism in Memphis. During this season he had angry run ins with couple Grizz players who are probably now glad to see him gone, deserved or not. Not to mention, his faux pas in middle of WCF game when he pulled Tony Parker aside gushing about what a great PG he was, that Conley could learn a lot from him. That caught live on TV moment did not go over well with many Memphis fans and local media gave him some heat over it.
