Too long, didn't read - Get rid of the Kings and start over fresh.
They've given us all many memories, bad and good. Personally though i'm over them. Lets forget about them and let them move away. For starters the community is barely behind them. A team should be something that unites a city. I know more people in Sacramento that are Lakers fans than there are Kings. I see more people walking around the street/mall in Lakers jerseys than there are Kings. Provided most of them are bandwagoning idiots. Regardless, I think we should let the Kings move away, take the year off, think about some REAL stadium plans, and start over. Everything from the the fans to the owners.
My idea - Let the Kings move down to Socal. We'll all get over it in time. Take the year off and get our stadium stuff together. Get new owners. Get new team name (with that said, we need some new team names). Get new director. Get new coach. Get new players. Unite the city. Dominate the NBA.
Team name - Sacramento Rapids (what else does Sacramento have
) or Sacramento Royals (keeping the monarchy type theme).
Team colors - Should be white and that Kings purple we all know and love. I think they should look like this (with the colors i have mentioned of course)

And please let me know what you all think. I really want to get the community united behind one strong team, and perhaps in the future we can build and bring in some more teams (would love to see a soccer team).
