I don't have cable by choice (don't want TV on all the time in the house) so I'm trying this method this year. I paid the $40 and all set. So far so good. You actually buy the iphone version of the app on the ipad and then use the 2x pixel thing to watch the game a little bigger. A little blurry but pretty stable for me so far. Last year I got a Roku with the Gametime channel on it. I had to buy league pass broadband to enable the video feed. It was pretty buggy. This year during the league pass trial it has been even worse. Stops in the middle of plays to rebuffer, replays the same minute over and over again, skips ahead. It's unwatchable. For $40 the mobile app is a pretty cheap way to watch all the games. When they are blacked out you get the audio feed too which is nice.
