Mister Slim Says: Fourteen more games of this.

Sacramento improbably won on the road against the Clippers last night, pleasing some, amusing others, and p***ing off a very vocal third set. Now they head back to the Eagle to embark on another edition of the Tank-Off™, this time on the second night of a back-to-back. Utah, however, doesn't intend to make it easy, though: having shut down basically their whole team, Danny Ainge is looking across the court at Scott Perry like, "I dare you to lose to us!"

I don't care if the Kings win or lose, as long as they k
eep playing the kids.

The Kings had nine men suit up last night. After the Westbrook announcement, they have eight players available, the league minumum. It will be a tough go for those still remaining, especially on the second night of a back-to-back:

Raynaud, Achiuwa, DeRozan, Clifford, McDermott, Cardwell, Plowden, Hayes.

Three of the starters played 37 minutes, and another played 35. Meanwhile, Hayes just earned a full contract (see thread). It would be nice if he could shoot over 30% from the field, though, and over 22% from three.

Musing on this...

Defensively, would the strategy be to play 6-on-5, or to play 5-on-5 with McBuckets as a full-time cherry picker? (I know what Vivek would say!)
Now I’m wondering, if Cardwell would be allowed to rebound on the offensive end as long as he was not allowed to do put backs or Aleyoops?
