With a renewed focus on defense after struggling at the end of December, the Oklahoma City Thunder opened the new year by taking a step in the right direction. The surging Thunder seek their 15th consecutive home win in this series Monday night, though Sacramento did give them all they could handle in the first meeting. Serge Ibaka and Kevin Durant each had four of the team's season-high 15 blocks.
