I apologize for missing last night's game but, quite honestly, it WAS lobster...and living up here in the forest one doesn't get many opportunities to have lobster.
Tonight's game is definitely going to be interesting. Once again, Phoenix has most likely spent a lot of what is now wasted time figuring out how they'll handle Peja. I'm willing to bet they didn't spend much time focusing on Corliss.
I'm not even going to try and predict the keys to the game or anything else. It's out of our hands... it is all in the hands of the basketball dieties. I've accepted that and am just going to kick back and enjoy whatever the game brings.
Remember, once the game starts you can either discuss it in the game thread started by piksi or join some of our members in chat at mIRC, server: irc.bludgeon.org, channel: #KingsFans OR you can do both, AND follow the game itself via this thread. I just ask you not to post your comments, discussion, etc. in here because this thread is designed to give those who cannot see or hear the game otherwise a way to follow the action, albeit from a hopeless Kings homer's point of view.
At this point, we're at least in the playoffs so all the rest is icing on the cake and pretty little plastic flowers on the icing. If we're really lucky, we may even get those nifty candles to go inside the flowers. Life isn't that bad. We could, after all, be Lakers fans.
