Greetings, fellow Kings fans.

I didn't know if I was going to be home, so waited on starting the thread. I'm here, though, so I'll be doing the PBP...

Beautiful day up here in the forest today. My thoughts and prayers are with the people in danger because of the wildfires in Southern California. We've had rain, so our fire danger has been greatly reduced, meaning some of our firefighters can head down south to try and help.

The Spurs have really been struggling, so tonight's game won't be a walk in the park for them by any stretch of the imagination. All I want to see is heart and hustle from our Kings. It would be really nice to see #23 out there, but I'm sure they won't let him rush back. Watching the Kings warm up behind Grant and Jerry, it doesn't look as though he's on the court.

And now, a brief word about our board...

Kingsfans.com is a great place to come to catch up on the latest discussions, talk about your hopes and/or fears for the team, etc. We have some fantastic members who really know the game of basketball and we have newcomers who are able to join in and learn more about the game we love. All are welcome to our family-friendly board.

All this is possible because of the generosity and dedication of our board owner. If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running as the #1 Sacramento Kings internet community, please consider becoming a Contributing Member You're under no obligation, of course, but our Contributing Members do receive things like larger avatars, custom user titles, and first chance at tickets to group events, such as attending the opening night game at Arco with some of your favorite KF posters.

Sunday evening games are usually a lot of fun at Arco, and I'm hoping this one won't be an exception. Heart and hustle, energy and enthusiasm ... and Arco Thunder. That's what it's all about.

Let's get ready for some Kings basketball!

Word from Grant and Jerry on Martin and Garcia:

1. Kevin most likely won't be available until after the New Orleans game on Wednesday, meaning he could come back into the lineup in Arco against Portland on Friday, Nov. 21.

2. Garcia will also be out AT LEAST that long and, depending on the medical staff, possibly even longer.

GET WELL SOON, GUYS!!!

For those who aren't seeing the game, John Salmons had six stitches over his left eye folliwing the game against the Suns. They say it happened when he went in for that last bucket, which could easily explain why he spinned away from the contact at the last minute... He's got a ginormous bandage over the eye, to the point where it almost reaches down to his eyelid.

Hill, Mason, Udoka, Duncan and Oberto for the Spurs.

Udrih, Salmons, Thompson, Moore and Miller for the Kings.

And oh goodie. Another early feature by Angela Tsai. I refuse to even acknowledge any more of her babbles. I will most likely recognize the occurrences, so don't expect the rants to stop, however.

Tip off...
