Welcome, fellow Kings fans!
It's a cold and dreary day here in the forest, perfect for turkey sandwich consumption and watching TV.
I hope the players have worked off their holiday feasts. I miss Vlade; it was games like this where you'd watch him lumber up and down the court, a little more slowly than usual, and you couldn't help but wonder just how much holiday feasting he'd done. I've heard he quickly adopted Thanksgiving upon his arrival in the US and it became one of his favorite holidays.
Anyway, back to basics...
This is the play-by-play thread, where I try and give those of our members who cannot see the game an idea of what's going on from a Kings fan point of view. I want to thank the people who have taken the time to send me PMs about how much they enjoy the PBP.
If you want to discuss the game with other Kings fans, you can participate in piksi's game discussion thread or you can join CHAT, hosted by Mr. S£im Citrus, at mIRC. The server is irc.bludgeon.org and the channel is #Kingsfans.

My beverage tonight will, once again, be Gevalia Hazelnut Coffee, laced with a little egg nog (non-alcoholic version). I'll be trying to keep from too much turkey. Tryptophan-enduced napping is not a good idea when you're trying to watch a Kings game AND type at the same time.
I have my Bibby jersey at the ready, along with my purple slippers and Kings blankey. Apparently I must have selected the proper placement for the various icons, so they haven't been moved.
All in all, tonight should be another good night for Kings fans.

GO KINGS!!!!!
