First, to all our veterans - Happy Veterans Day and thank you for your service...
----------------------------------------------------------
Okay, it's that time again. Game 6 of the 2005-2006 season. And hopefully a game that will get us back on track and remind us just why we became Kings fans in the first place.
Things have been tough so far. We're a team in transition. We have a couple of familiar faces, but for the most part this team is a NEW and DIFFERENT Kings team and they deserve an adequate chance to establish themselves before we start throwing ourselves (me included) off the closest high structure.
This is the play-by-play thread. I try and give our members who cannot see the game an ongoing pictorial... through the eyes of a resident homer, of course. I am a KINGS fan, first, last and always, but I try very hard to be fair and unbiased in the PBP descriptions. Since it is the PBP, I ask that people not post comments here during the game.
If you do want to interact with your fellow Kingsfans.com members during the game, you have some options available:
1. You can participate in the game thread started by piksi. It's always a pretty lively place.
2. You can jump into Mr. S£im's chat at mIRC. server is irc.bludgeon.org and channel is #Kingsfans. It's been a little quiet the last couple of games, so why not check it out and add to the discussion?
3. You can do both!
This thread, and everything here at Kingsfans.com, is possible because of the dedication and generosity of our board owner, Jeremy. You don't have to register to read threads; you don't have to pay anything to be part of the most active Kings message board on the Internet. If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running, however, you can consider becoming a Contributing Member. You are, of course, under no obligation whatsoever. Check HERE for more information.
I'm hoping for a good game tonight. I want to see focus and effort and a win would really be welcome.
GO KINGS!!!!!
