Hello fellow Kings fans!!!

For some reason I'm not quite sure of, I'm pretty excited about tonight's game. I have a good feeling...



I have my Bibby jersey, my lucky socks, my purple slippers and my Kings blankey. My icons are ready; and I have the cowbell (well actually, it's a goat bell) at the ready.

If you're new to the play-by-play (PBP) thread, this is my way of sharing the game experience with our members who cannot see or hear the game. I try to make it as complete as possible so they can follow the game from a King's fan point of view. In addition to the PBP, we here at Kingsfans offer a couple of other ways for you to share the game-time experience. There is a game discussion thread started by piksi, where you're free to post your comments. (Please, no comments in the PBP thread.) In addition, you can check out the CHAT at mIRC, server: irc.bludgeon.org, channel: #KingsFans. We generally have a number of people there during the game.

Membership here at Kingsfans.com is free. In fact, you don't even have to register to read our forums although we do require membership for you to post in the various venues. VF rocks! One thing I particularly like is that VF's PBP gives the information that neither ESPN.com nor NBA.com does, like the face expression of players, reactions of audiences, and the interviews, etc.... Also, it's much more "real-time." For a heated game, it's so good to know what's going on right away.

Thanks VF!! Great for our fans not at Sac Town and cannot watch Kings game when they're not nationally broadcasted.

Yeah awesome service. I always follow VF's PBP threads when the game's not aired here or if I'm away from the computer, I read through it when I get back, even if the game's over. Gives me a picture of what went on.

Yep! VF really ROCKS!! She started offering this PBP about midway through last season (I think). Now, it is a regular service that she offers to our members. On the rare occasion that she misses the game (or gets to attend the game at ARCO), we try and have someone (or 2) step up to fill in.

They show Thomas getting up just as they go to the break.

That was a vicious chop by Dirk IMHO.

I do NOT condone violence but that was an UGLY hit by Dirk on Thomas.
