Welcome fellow Kings fans...

Get well soon wishes to Shareef. Truly a shame that he didn't even get a trip to the foul line on that rap in the mouth. And even a bigger shame that the officials missed seeing him getting a fractured jaw.



Things are not going to get any easier for us as loyal Kings fans. In fact, I think rock bottom may just have gotten a lot closer. My thought is that anyone can be a fan of a winning team. The proof of the pudding, however, is who will still be around when the team isn't winning. I think we're going to find out...

I'm out of Gevalia so it's back to regular coffee tonight. The weather is horrible, but the snow level is very high so at least I don't have to worry about the satellite dish being covered with snow during the game.

I'm thinking good thoughts. I'm not harboring any delusions about a team missing three starters being able to do much but hope springs eternal.

Grant is interviewing Kevin Martin. This is a very personable young man who wants nothing more than to do everything he can to help the Kings win. Grant is talking to him about how much Kevin likes to play defense on the ball. Kevin says he's looking forward to guarding Cuttino because, after all the practices last year, he (Martin) knows what Cuttino likes to do and his weaknesses. I love this young man's attitude.

Nice meeting you too, we had a great time at the game! Katie and I saw Kevin play in his first pre-season game last year and we were VERY impressed with him. He was so excited that after the game he met with fans out the back door and spent quite a while chatting with them and signing autographs. Katie and her friends all fell in love. She says she is going to marry him. I think that be lovely as I would then get good Kings tickets!
