So, my distaste for Napear is well known, and occasionally debated, but I mostly like Jason Ross alright. I was going to download a podcast of his show, and listen to it while I was doing some housework, except that it appears that the podcasts on KTHK are distributed via iTunes. And I don't do iTunes.

Does anyone know whether there is a legal alternative?

I use tunein radio. The shows are usually up the next day (or you can stream it live on 1140am via tunein radio).

I know there is a archive for Grant's show, but I am not sure if there is for Ross. I will look tomorrow if his show is on then and check if it brings up an archive of his show when I click him (while his show is on). I couldn't bring up an archive with a name search.

I can't stream from my second-generation Sansa mp3 player, so that does me no good. I need something that I can download to my PC, and sync to my MP3 player, so I can listen to it while I'm doing housework/yardwork.

You could just bring up a topic to yourself (ie. Who should start at PF?; Will the 49ers make the playoffs?), use hardly any insight or interesting statistics in your answer, and then just hem and haw around the answer until the 24 minute segment is over. For example, "The Niners are a really good team, and they've made the playoffs the past few seasons. They've added and subtracted some players. I just don't know, I really think they will make the playoffs again this year. Are they better than the Seahawks? I guess we will have to wait for the season to answer that."

Or you could try Media Monkey or another program to download podcasts
