anyone else entriged by the release of Kayte Christenson?

I've always liked her. Nose to the grindstone, a hard worker. She's not going to score a whole lot of points but will play some solid D.

It worries me that we don't have another forward on the bench.

I saw that Houston waived her, and i thought the same thing. She's definitely one of those players who you hate to play against, but love to have on your team. I'd say she's an upgrade over Wilkins, would she make the vet. minimum?

The Houston folks are furious about it. Said it was a contract error. She was a salary cap casualty.

Yes She would be a nice addition. I do Like Wilkins tho...

Nope, I'm fine with who we have. If they are slating DeMya's return for June/July(???!!!??) Buescher is going to get heavy minutes I suspect anyway. - we don't really have a need for Kayte and perhaps even the cap space for her to sit when DeMya returns. Wilkins cap hit and her blue collar work ethic is sufficient. You've got Wilkins/Buescher/Griffith/Brunson rotating at the same positions, how are we short handed there?

We have more of a need in the guard department for as long as Lawson remains mysteriously illin' but even now I'm ok with who we have.
