It's early but here's my take on what the Kings should do this summer

Pick up Deron Williams and Javale McGee from free agency.
Sad to say but I'd like to see JT/Donte/JJ go and find success somewhere else.
Draft Barnes/MKG - or get them by trade draft day trade with maybe Thornton/Jimmer as package

Lineup
PG-D-Will - most likely not going back to the Nets
SG-Reke - finally a sure playoff run and a first in Reke's career.
SF-MKG - future is bright for this kid or Barnes
PF - McGee - skillwise-the best big man that would complement Cousins with his above the rim plays.
C - Cousins - probably a legit top 5 C in the league next season

D-Will isn't coming to the Kings. He's going to Dallas with Dwight Howard. I wouldn't throw money at him anyway cuz he's fat and has a bad attitude.

You must be confused, McGee has no skill, just athleticism. He's not a PF either.

Letting JT walk is just dumb.

MKG doesn't do anything that Tyreke Evans can't do.

Bad overall battle plan.

D-Will is coming back to form and is still easily a top 5 PG in the league. Dallas would be good for him but this forum once believed that Chandler will never leave Dallas.
McGee is pure athleticism which is something this team could really use. Cousins is ground bound which would make McGee's above the rim a nice complement.
If you get D-Will and a young big for letting JT walk it's not dumb at all.
If MKG does what Reke does, I'm not worried at all having 2 slasher/defender on the wings.

Unfortunately, no way we can get a free agent like D-Will. In NBA 2k12 maybe, not in reality. The only way we can get a star is by trade, and then you have to hope he's happy and wants to resign (just like C-Webb). We couldn't get Crawford or Kirilenko this summer, what makes you think we can sign Williams?

I don't want to let JT go, he is doing very well and he is a 6.11 roleplayer who rebounds and makes a lot less mistakes than he used to do. A lot of teams would like us to be so dumb to let him walk.

I'm down with MKG. He has good size for a SF and I like his game. I still hope we get lucky at the lottery. I don't want to think it's rigged, I want to believe we can be lucky once in a lifetime! Anthony Davis would be my first choice, great shot blocker and still very young.
