I'm not familiar enough with how the DDR/Lavine pairing made the Bulls offense look, so hopefully somebody who caught more games from their best seasons could enlighten us.

I'm wondering the same thing for sure though. LOTS of standing around on offense last night.

Have to hope it looks better after some practices.

The Pelicans games will hopefully be glorified scrimmages so between the ASB allowing extra practice and the schedule softening up a bit I think we should enjoy some short term success again. For the half Kings played on my basket last night it did look crowded in the paint and Clingan and Ayton did seem to come out of nowhere to get some blocks that shouldn't have happened. We did seem not exactly a step slow but a step unfamiliar that caused the hesitation to allow these things. And they have some big boys that may not have the greatest rep around the league it did create some advantages we may not see every night. I was hoping Jonas would eat Clingan up but the rook held his own.

Just imagine that you are on a different continent. In a different country. Nobody speaks your language and everybody drives on the wrong side of the road. Still, basketball court is the same, ball is the same. Sooner or later everybody adjusts. Pro people adjust much faster though.
In tomorrow's game I expect offense to be much more fluid. Nothing too complicated, simple plays, less blunders. Defense mostly is all about the effort.

Question: is it the addition of new 1 on 1 players that have stopped ball movement or is it the fact that the new players default to 1 on 1 because they aren’t familiar with the offense?
None of the above. It's the simple fact that we are now asking a bunch of new faces to come in and help turn this ship (back) around. It takes a bit of time to get acclimated to a brand new offensive and defensive scheme. Over time, all of the puzzle pieces will fall into place, and we'll be looking at a more fluid offense.

Ill tell you this, I've never rooted for someone to fail so much in my life. Don't act like your not looking over at that Spurs score wishing evil with your rabbits foot out and voodoo dolls.

What i don't want is Chicago 2.0. We got so many people that are comfortable with derozen it dam near looks like we are building around him. Coaching needs to make it clear it's Sabonis team. I dont think they have Done that at all. I've seen him call for the ball only to be ignored with a shot going up.

That's my only concern. Other than that, I wish nothing but bad juju on spurs. My now favorite hated team, overtaking the warriors. Witch is good because I didn't want to hate the warriors, they are so close

I'll never actively root for an individual to fail at, and in, life. Whether an individual fails or succeeds may not matter much to me later in life as it may have earlier on, but absolutely no, I will NOT actively root for someone to fail.

Good for you. I'm pretty sure it's not even possible for him to fail at life seeing he will make more and has made more than anyone on this forum combined. He has generational wealth, so In Fox words, (he's getting paid) why would I feel guilty.

Also, Stay focused bro we are talking about sports. Who said anything about life. I domt know why you would take a sports forum to sound self righteous. You actively root against every team the kings play. Don't make it deeper than it is

Sports, more specifically, basketball, is pretty much a good chunk of his life. Why should I want someone to fall flat on their face doing something that puts food on the table for them and their family?
Also, thanks for being "Captain Obvious". Like myself, everyone out there roots against every team their favorite team plays. But that does not mean I (or many others) also actively root for specific individuals on that team to completely fall off of the face of the planet.

Do I like Fox for what he just did and how he has acted since? No, and I've made it perfectly clear that I do not. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna come out and state that I hope he fails at everything he does in life.

Dude we just want the Spurs to lose. It’s not that crazy.

Your dramatic bro, and putting words in my mouth. I domt know what your angle is, but just comment on the other stuff i said since you can't comprehend another person rooting for another team to not do good. I stand by what I said

Can either of you precisely point out where it was said that I had any issue with another person rooting for another team to not do good, or where I, myself, indicated that I have an issue with another team not doing good? And can either of you point out where I indicated that I DO NOT want the Spurs to lose??? I never said that. If it means more wins for us, and a quicker rise to the top, then, absolutely yes, I want the Spurs to lose.

I will say, though, that I have said, and will continue to say that while I have, currently do, and will continue to root against the Spurs as a team to do well, I won't do the same when it comes to Fox as an individual per se. I do hope he goes on to have the career he desires, whatever the heck that may be. Will I actively root for him now that he is no longer a King? No, especially given the stuff he's now said about us. But, at the same time, I am also not going to actively root for him to fall flat and not play well. I'll just not care much about him, or what he does, or how he plays. If he plays well, good for him. If he doesn't play well, good for him. I just won't be bothered either way.

I think we got better talent wise, but I fear we will become a midrange squad instead of shooting 3s

How successful we are depends on how Doug Christie utilize the team. How much is he doing to play Carter, how often he use the zone defense...these are big questions. Is he going to give Jake more minutes over Lyle? Is Sabonis ever going to be on the court with Jonas at the same time? Does he know that when teams are crashing, is he still going to employ quick and run break? Will he bench some stars in sacrifice for defensive purpose?

Well I'll tell you this fellow kings fan, I had a giant smile on my face when Fox hit the game winner. .2 seconds too late. Made my day lol
