If only we had Peja and Webb...

Cant wait till we play them with our full force, although they didnt have Allen, Im confident we can beat them next time.

Darius and House... Nice way of stepping up tonight. We just needed Brad to score...

yah it hurt.

ray and peja being out cancelled each other out, so us having no webber gave them the upper hand. miller had an awful game which is a huge reason we lost. if he had a good game, chances are we win even with out c-webb and peja.

ah well. just one game. i hope webber and/or peja come back tommorrow!!!!!!!!

No excuses for this loss... Seattle was down a star also. They just beat us, simple as that

Yes, but we lost Peja, Webber, Evans, and Bibby and Miller were in fould trouble. Miller didn't play in clutch time so we could of used him. Also the refs were off a bit..................

I agree. But this is the NBA, it’s a long season and most teams have to deal with injury as we did tonight and so did Seattle. (including not having their head coach for 3 games) Honestly I thought both teams played well considering and it was an entertaining game. Sure it didn't go the way we hoped it would but all in all nothing that I am upset about.

Personally I would rather see both battle it out at full strength. This game tells us nothing as far as who the better team is.

i thought it was bibby's 2-11 3pt shooting that killed us.... oh well, maybe next time..... they had better not sweep us....

the way i see it is this: sonics were down allen. allen is just about equal to peja. we had no peja. so them 2 being out, it's an equal loss for both teams, still matched pretty good. BUT we also lost webber. they lost 24 points in allen, we are missing over 40 points a night in webber and peja ( 21 and 20 each) so that knocks the kigns down, giving the sonics the upper hand.

brad had been picking up the slack, but he had nothing tonight, which was a hige factor in the kings losing. if he has just an average game instead of a bad game, the kings probably win the game even without c-webb and peja.

just go get em tommorrow, thats all i ask. i want a good effort and a win agianst the 2nd worst team in the west!

BigWaxer. Give your team a little more credit. Considering how short our bench was and who we had on the court and the game was still u for grabs with 50 seconds left, I think we did an outstanding job. Losing sucks, but this loss wasn't too bad to swallow.

so if we would have lost to twolves would i have seen this thread yesterday?

what a bad last-2-min,

we just underestimated sonics
This is what people are talking about when we say the starting five has another gear. I think the back up guys played admirably tonight, especially Darius. It's tough to expect them to exicute like they need to at the end of a close game against a good team. I'm seriously having Peja and Chris withdrawls, we need them back fast. Hey Arco faithful, How bout staying in your seats until the game is over for once, what the hell has happened to our crowds? Once Brad fouled out I knew we were in trouble even though he was having a bad game he gave us some stability out there. Tough loss but at least we get right back at it tommorow.

What? I am not saying anything bad about them? Re-read my posts please. I am pretty happy with the effort tonight. I am saying the exact opposite of what you read into my post

Barnes, House, and Kevin going 3-11 didn't help either

I didnt get to watch the game since I live in Los Angeles, but what the hell was up with Miller. 6 points? What he got player of the week so he decided to sleep tonight?

I hate to say "if only we had Peja and Webb..." cuz on Sunday we were all jumping for joy when we beat Minny without them....i dunno it seems like a bit of a cop out...even though its true...we didn't have our stars

true... so i should have said our 3pt shooting is what killed us.... what was it? like 6-23? or something like that.... and seattle shot over 50% from 3pt range... when a team is shooting like that, you usually lose.....

Serious foul trouble bro, serious foul trouble. That and he was missing his open shots he usually makes.

Very true^^ Is anybody else worried that Cat may be more hurt than he's letting on?

Barnes, House played well but DS is the only one that really stepped up. Even with all the missed 3's if Miller had performed decently we would have won.

My bad. Sorry.

I think that this loss shows positive signs - it def. makes me a feel a lot better about the Kings bench. The Kings showed that they could compete without their big names. That being said, I think its obvious that the Kings need Peja and Webb back if they want to consistently beat quality teams. Minnesota has not been playing too good, so the Kings victory there didn't really demonstrate how important the King's all star forwards are to their team.

If anything, these past 2 weeks have shown me one thing - a healthy Kings roster is nearly undefeatable. The starters have too much talent and the bench has too much energy for oppsing teams to compete with. Furthermore, the Kings are actually developing into a decent defensive team. If they can rebound consistently, the King's might finally earn those elusive rings that seem to keep hiding from their fingers.

Any status on that? I am more concerned with Webb right now out of anyone. Peja we know will be back, although back injuries can be a bit**.

I am more worried about Webb and his knee.

I bet it was all those trips to the ATM machine during games. LOL

I agree with Entity when he said he thinks that as soon as Mo comes back and gets of the IL that Cuttino will get on...he is hurting pretty bad...and its the same injury as Mo and Mo went on the IL for it...he knows he can't sit down cuz they have some guys hurt already

My problem with saying "If only we had Peja and Chris......" is that it quite possibly negates the good of winning on Sunday verses Minn.

Do I want them back? Of course I do, I'd also wish for Bobby but that's a stretch given he's out for the reg. season.

The Kings showed that they can win without them, it's also probable for them to lose without them. I'm sort of satisfied with this loss because the bench was good(now if only certain figures would realize that the Kings in fact have a bench), they tried hard but lost to a good team.

Asking this sort of question is the same question of if the Sonics had Ray Allen? Would they have won only by 5, have a blowout or lost?

Right now just sticking to who the Kings actually have on the court.
