I must say...I'm very proud of Sacramento right now

Yeah we all know that if it weren't for the dawdling and the cowtown mentality that we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. But, now that our backs are against the wall, we're showing our true spirit. Everyone from lawyers, to developers, to the mayor, to the fans, to ex Kings players, to business owners, to radio hosts have united to send a message loud and clear to Anaheim and the Maloofs that you ain't stealing our team without one hell of a fight! And I think that's pretty awesome. Go Sactown!

I honestly didn't expect this type of effort from the city of Sacramento. I thought after the Laker game, the Kings would ride off into the sunset. I know for a fact that the Maloofs have been blinded by the resistance they have met.

Because EVERYONE knows we love our Kings.. Everyone knows we are the best fans in basketball. We are trying our hardest to keep this team, and we should be applauded. I am REALLY happy that we have former players that KNOW how good we are to them..

Even the Jazz fans support us.. Why?

Remember when we gave John Stockton the standing ovation in the playoffs when it was his last game at arco? They remember how classy we are as fans. Of course Stockton deserved it but who else would have done that for Stockton? Who else would have gave a former coach an ovation as long as we did even though it got no TV coverage? WE WOULD!
