Off and on honestly, I was a fan during the spud webb years, when I was just a little spud myself, but it's tough to root for a team that sucks when you're a kid (or an adult), I didn't get back into it until the 2001-2002 season.

I have been a fan since I moved here from the greatest state in the land Which happened to be the same year the Kings moved here... I kind of waivered at first between the Pacers and Kings but eventually that season I changed the 2 teams around and the Kings became my favorite

Strange passion, because, being from France, I could not watch any NBA games on TV at that time...

Why, does seeing that '17+' that make you feel old or something?

Nah, it just fit better with the calculations I used-didn't want to make it too specific and complicated.

Interesting-looks like the majority are fans like me who started watching them after the 're-birth' in 1999. Honestly, it was the Indiana Pacers who got me started watching basketball during their 1998 playoff run. Then the strike occured, then it ended, and I figured I'd better check out our hometown boys. The rest, as they say, is history.

1994, thanks to Bobby Hurley getting drafted to the Kings.

I moved here from the Bay Area in '93 and have been a Kings fan ever since. I couldn't stand Hurley and I was really irritated when the Kings drafted him. Nice guy and all and a real tragic accident that cut his career short but I just didn't see his game translating to the NBA level.
