COMMENTARY | James Harden and Dwight Howard had their first dominant performance as a tandem Tuesday night, combining for 62 points in a 116-101 Houston Rockets road victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Harden and Howard were incredibly efficient, shooting a combined 21-31 from the field and 18-22 from the free-throw line, which is pretty amazing since Howard shot 12 of the 22 free throws (he made nine of them). The most impressive part of Houston's victory was its ability to close the game out. With around 9 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Portland cut the lead to five points on a Damian Lillard jump shot, bringing the Moda Center crowd back into the game.
