yah that biggie/sinatra mixtape is hott...... i like comparing it to dj dangermouse the grey album..... which is jay z's black album mixed with the beatles white album
 
dangermouse's remix is much better in my opinion, but both are hot.
 
I'm just saying, you don't see rappers wearing kings jearseys in music videos and stuff. And jin sux, hes hella weaksauce. everyone thought he was gonna be big when i got with roc a fella after 106 and park, and he put out some wack *** songs that noone bought.

first off... if you gonna say someones wack get your facts straight playa..... he was never with the roc.... he was down with ruff ryders and dblock.... he dropped an album but it sucked.... hes not a rapper hes more of an emcee... a battle emcee.....

I definitely didn't think he was going to big after 106 and Park. He's a battle emcee, completely different type of hip hop. He never should have tried to go mainstream. How can you say a top notch freestyler sucks and is weaksauce? Roc a Fella? Must have missed that signing, like fillmoe said, RuffRyder Crew. He shoulda stuck to the underground scene.

Anyways, I'm off to see Murs tonight at the knitting factory in Hollywood. I know you are jealous Fillmoe, I'll try and cop some pics. Peace.

Dude - You are so missing the point.

If you're not a fan of hip-hop. then move on to the next thread. We do have members who enjoy talking about hip hop and there's NO REASON whatsoever for you to rain on their parade. Period.

The knitting factory? I've been there one time, for a club though. It was wack. I just came back from a club myself. Some club out in artesia called el mirage or something.

Anyways, for the topic at hand, I can't even attempt to download it cause I'm always on my sidekick II. Most of my posts are off my sidekick.
 
i forgot it was ruff rydas, i thought just remembered it had an R. And i actually do like hip hop, i used to love it a few years ago. I downloaded some of jin's songs and i just thought the words and stuff were pretty weak. for instance, yall gone learn chinese? for his cd, probably right about him never should have gone main stream, but if he wasn't making any money then i wouldn't blame him even if the cd sucked.

he makes money off of battles and the mixtape scene and im sure alot of other ways...... last year he won 50 grand at the mixshow power summit.....

hes gonna be doing it again this year
 
fillmoe-murs went nuts last night, did a lot of his songs from "the end of the beginning" and "murs 3:16". Now i'm dealing with the damn hangover.

Why would rappers wear Kings jerseys in their videos? We dont have any all stars. We dont have a Kobe, Shaq, T-Max, Iverson, Lebron.... nobody except us cares about Bibby or Peja and maybe Miller.

I've been listening to murs since he was in 3MG-3 melancholy gypsies. I'm gonna go on the 8th of sep to see living legends, heiroglyphics, and swollen members. Gonna be hot.
 
The clipse video for "grindin" had one of the clipse wearing a kings jersey, but I think it was an archibald jersey(can't remember exactly. It was an old school though). Anyways, it was still a kings jersey.
