With a majority of their next two weeks being spent on the road, the Hawks look to get the stretch off to a solid start and reach the 50-win plateau for the first time in five years by completing another season sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers. Since suffering a two-game skid that bridged the All-Star break, Atlanta (49-12) has won six in a row, including victories over Houston and Cleveland that have left the Hawks on the verge of reaching 50 wins for the first time since going 53-29 in 2009-10. The Hawks' 104-96 victory Tuesday gave them a season sweep of the Rockets before Friday's 106-97 win marked their third straight over the Cavaliers since a 127-94 loss in Cleveland on Nov. 15 that remains their biggest defeat this season. After five players scored in double figures for the balanced Hawks on Tuesday, Al Horford had 19 points to lead six such efforts against the Cavs, who shot 42.0 percent - including a 5-for-13 performance by LeBron James.
