Gary

All-Star
OK.. So we start the year 2-1 which if before the season we had to guess I am sure a lot would have picked 1-2.

Anyhow, here comes November!

I will leave this blank so anyone that wants to cut/paste can use below. I will do my prediction in my reply.

Vs. Toronto
Vs. LA Lakers
Vs. Memphis
Vs. Minnesota
@ Phoenix
Vs. Detroit
Vs. New York
Vs. New Jersey
Vs. New Orleans
@ Utah
@ LA Clippers
Vs. Chicago
Vs. Indiana

Below is a quick rundown of the Kings and opposing teams situations i.e. how many games in how many nights ect ect.

Vs. Toronto - 1st game of a 4 game road trip for Toronto, and Kings home opener.

Vs. LA Lakers - We get a day to rest at home, and the Lakers are on the second night of a back to back home/away.

Predicting 9-4 for the month of November which would put us at 11-5 for the season after November. The Kings seem to get a LOT of rest in November, with only ONE back to back which is a home/away.

A lot of the teams coming in will be on 4th in 5th night, or on long road trips.. So look for a 9-4, 8-5, or even a 10-3 month possibly!

Games that worry me are of course the Lakers, also the Hornets, Utah, Phoenix and for some reason Indiana and the Clippers.

I think of all the teams up there I pick us to lose in we might beat Phoenix.. Of the games I picked to win we might lose to the Clippers or Indiana.

GO KINGS!

10-3 :)

A bit homeristic but anyways;)

btw what the heck we have only 3 road games this month?!

Anything less than 8 - 5 will be somewhat disappointing, but I'm a serious believer, so they could go 10 - 3!

You should do this all the way through early January. The kings have 21 of their next 30 games at home.

They could realistically start the season like 21-12 with the schedule they have.

I still don't see them winning more than 35 games or so. The schedule for January/February is as difficult as the first two months are easy.

These threads always make me laugh. We aren't a 5th seed. We will lose almost all the games were supposed to lose and then lose a couple of the ones were supposed to win. There is no way they'll end up with a winning record at the end of November.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they end up with the records you guys are predicting. I'm just not fooled by the good start against 3 crap teams. Although I will admit it's pretty impressive on the road.

I agree with this, although I hope the Kings prove us wrong. Most of the games that posters have predicted they will win are games that the opposing team would predict THEY will win. I think these predictions are based on us being a 45-50 win team, which we are not.

Who is saying we're a 5th seed?

I may have said the same thing, but after seeing us beat two crappy teams on the road, my opinion has changed. You put a mediocre team on a home heavy schedule and you'll find yourself with a winning record.

I say, by the end of this month, we'll be 10-6.

7-6 or 6-7 for Nov depends on Chicago, if we can finish the month with .500 over all I am happy.
