What is going on with Free Throws these days. It seems every game you can contribute missed free throws to a teams loss. Tonight Mike Bibby was an aweful 7-14. Plus Barnes and Miller missed 1 apeice very late that could have hurt us bad. Luckily New York sucked worse than us at FT's because the shot over 60%. I will be so glad to get the other guys playing again. I can't go through games like this. I need nitro.
 
Seems like Mike has just been really off this year, with free throw shooting. Last year he was 80%, now i think 77%
 
It was one of those days, trust me the guys are better than this , but we still are one of the best FT shooting teams in the NBA
 
i don't want to go into this much cuz im so darn happy we won but

Matts miss and Brads miss were under pressure...i thought Brad would make that last FT of his but it didn't bother me that he didn't...as for Matt i knew he was gonna miss at least one he's a career 59% FT shooter (though he was 5-5 in the game up to that point)

as for Mike...::shakes head::...that was disgusting...i hope he takes sometime and shoots a few from the line...but you could totally tell it was in his head after he missed those first two of three at the end of 1st...but he'll bounce back...i have confidence
 
I am celebrating. But you can't tell me that when Brad missed his to give us the lead it didn't concern you. Then NY missed and Barnes had a chance and he missed his first. Come on guys thats crunch time if you miss everyshot the entire game those 2 have to be made. Plus Bibby looked like Shaq tonight from the line.

I am celebrating. And i am not looking for a reason not to. Just an obersavition i felt like sharing. Kinda like people putting the kings records with or without certain players. BTW we are 32-14 when Adelman picks his nose during the game.

it's mid-season already. the guys are all banged up. cut them some slack people. they are highly-paid, superior quality athletes indeed but whatever or however we criticize them for not making shots, open or not, FTs or whichever, they are after all still human.

i understand your concerns coz i somehow share the same sentiment. but what matters most IS the W.

Go KINGS! ;)
 
It's kind of a disturbing trend, in the 2nd half when we're trying to dig out of a defecit, we don't shoot free throws very well.
