Francisco Garcia to meet team, media

According to Ch. 13 news, which has a reporter at Arco, Garcia is expected to arrive there in a couple of hours. They plan on showing clips of him on the 5 p.m. news...

The report is that Adelman will also be on hand and that an announcement will be made regarding Darius and Mo Evans.

Having said all that, the entire press conference will most likely not be televised although I would sure like to see Maloof Sports Network starting to carry that kind of stuff.

Believe me, if there is info available, it will be linked to/discussed/copied and pasted here somewhere. Even those of us living near Sacramento miss some of the events/announcements and want to keep abreast of what is going on with our favorite team. You will hear about it as soon as everyone in Sacramento does!

I am not a "new" Kings fan. I have been a Kings fan for several years now. Having Garcia makes things that much better for us though... Makes my wife VERY happy because i don't have to go out and spend more cash on team gear. I already have a closet full of Kings stuff. I am new to this site however. I have posted over on Bleachermob for a few years but this site seems to be MUCH more happening....

Trust me, there's not a clip of Garcia in a game i haven't seen. I have every game he ever played at UofL on DVD. I'd just like to have the press conference. That's what i was meaning. Sorry for the confusion.....

The reporter said there would be an announcement about Darius and Mo. I'm guessing it will be that we've tendered qualifying offers to them. Teams can start talking to Free Agents on July 1. They cannot actually sign them until July 21, a week longer than last year.
