Euroleague finals!

Europe is going to get its new champion tonight at 9 pm(Central European time). Finalists are Barcelona and Olympiakos. Both of this teams are playing great this season and it looks like it's going to be an exciting game to watch.

Olympiakos defeated Partizan Belgrade in semi -finals. They forced overtime on a Josh Childress offensive rebound and dunk in the closing seconds of regulation. They won 83-80 in overtime.
Greek team has a lot of great players, such as ex NBA stars - Childress and Kleiza, Milos Teodosic - Euroleague MVP, captain Theo Papaloukas and Sofoklis Schortsanitis(whose nickname is - Baby Shaq). They were European champions one time in their history.

Barcelona defeated CSKA Moscow in semi - finals. The result was 64-54 and it clearly shows how good defense was played on that game. Many people think that Barcelona is currently the best European team and they really proved that so far by playing great basketball. Their biggest star on the team is surely Juan Carlos Navarro, former NBA player. Beside him, there are players like rising star Ricky Rubio, Erazem Lorbek, Pete Mickeal, N'Dong, etc. Barcelona was also European champion one time.

Like I said, this should be really exciting game and I hope you guys are able to watch it over there in USA.

I cheer for Olympiakos, because they are friendly team with my home team - Red Star Belgrade. Not a Barca fan...

I am a CSKA fan in Europe and I am sad that we lost to Barca. However, eight consecutive Final-4 qualifications is a great result.

3rd place this time ... still very impressive!!!

Congrats to Barcelona. They really are the best European team in this moment. I hope they play against NBA teams next summer, that would be fun to watch.
