the two guys who dipped into the Counting Crows, up against each other... wow tough. Have to think about this one a little bit. The 1-4 is a very hard call

You think you've got problems? I vote against KG4 and I'm probably having a still-frozen TV dinner for Thanksgiving.

You could always make the poll anonymous. If you had done that before then I would not hate you :)

Factorial went for the throat out of the gate snagging epic anthems.. I gotta pay that off.

I have to admit that if it were, in fact, limited to the first few picks, I'd have to go with Capt. Fact. I only made it a public poll because everyone else did... :p

I think where I made my BIG mistake was in not having the poll close AFTER Thanksgiving.

D-Mass and SacKings7 was a very tight call for me - I love both lists, and both of them stole a couple of songs from me (D-Mass: Under Pressure, Imagine, Voices Carry; SacKings7: Sweet Child o' Mine, Yellow Ledbetter). In the end, I think that D-Mass' list is just a tiny bit stronger, so that's where the nod goes.

Here's to my uphill battle against Kingsgirl4!

I think Capt. Factorial made the most of his opportunity to pick some of the great songs that others picked last year, and therefore didn't want to pick again (self-imposed rules). Both he and Kingsgirl4 had great lists, but I had to go with Kingsgirl4 because....well, honestly...because Kingsgirl4 doesn't have Pink Floyd on her list. Sorry CF, but I reeeeeally don't like that band

I actually went song by song in the first matchup. There are 11 songs I really like on KG4's list AND the clincher had to be her last pick, which just happens to be one of my all-time favorite songs. Capt. Factorial came in close, but only had 9 songs I really liked.

In the other matchup, I looked at the top 10 songs in each, and the top 9 in SacKings7's list were songs I really like.

So, my votes went to KG4 and SK7 but it was an incredibly difficult task to choose between each of them. I'm probably not going to vote in the finals. :p

I cannot remember ever having a semi-finals this close. It's a tribute to all four of our semi-finalists. I was telling KG4 the other day that I wouldn't mind having a collection of all these songs on my iPod...if I actually had an iPod.

Congratulations to Kingsgirl4 and SacKings7 for surviving one of if not the toughest semi-finals matches I've ever seen.

I'm enjoying the holiday at KG4's so I may not post the finals until tomorrow or Saturday when I return to the forest.

Thanks again to all the people who participated in this draft. I'm looking forward to a close final match.
