Colt Brennan for the Raiders?

#1
Anyone else wanting the Raiders to draft a young QB with potential to pretty much throw TDs at will? Colt Brennan is the guy they should try to pick up in the late rounds. The kid needs to add about 25-30lbs, but other than that he does have the height, and the arm to compete in the NFL. I think someone could snag him in the mid rounds...... That way Davis wouldnt have to do what he hates (taking QBs in the low rounds).

He more or less said he's staying in school for another year unless he gets a firm offer from a team ahead of time that he'll be a high pick in the draft. I smell a future Lion.

Dang, that kinda sucks for guys that would have taken in in the 4th rd or so.

The guy is a friggin stud. Yea, he plays for hawaii, but in the games that mattered against pac 10, and ranked opponents he still shows up and plays well. I think this guy will be a great NFL QB some day.

To me, Brennan seems a product of the system, much like the Texas Tech QBs:

Kliff Kingsbury
BJ Symons, et al

Tommy Chang also looked pretty good at Hawaii. Numbers aren't everything, ask Ty Detmer. :D

I'd love the Raiders to draft Brennan... as a Broncos fan.

Pretty sure he's staying in school so he can throw for 70 TDs and 7000 yards though.
