Since John Whisenant resigned as the M's coach after last season, he won't be able to coach the Western Conference All-Star team in this year's All-Star Game.

Therefore, the WNBA announced that the Western Conference coach will be the one who has the highest winning percentage (NOT strictly the amount of wins) by July 1st. So, if the Monarchs can maintain the highest winning % by that time, we could see Coach Jenny leading the Western squad! :)

The Eastern Conference team will be coached by that doofis in Detroit (who shall be nameless).

The ASG will take place in Washington, DC on Sunday, July 15.

I want to clarify: the Western Conference coach whose TEAM has the highest winning percentage by July 1st.

I did not mean the coach's personal percentage record. If that were the case, perhaps Michael Cooper would likely be in. But I hope not.

Well Monarchs....y'all will just have to see to it that coach JB takes that gig in DC....that will certainly increase MY level of excitement if that's what Orender was concerned about. :)

I missed how Williams got roped into singing the anthem, I just saw that she wasnt aware she was going to sing it, I'm looking forward to it now :D
