The Bulls' search for depth has continued with the addition of former Golden State Warriors point guard C.J. Watson.

The Bulls and Warriors have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal, with a second-round pick going to Golden State for the 26-year-old Watson, a three-year veteran out of Tennessee.

Watson's likely role in Chicago will be to back up All-Star guard Derrick Rose. Watson averaged 10.3 points and shot 47 percent from the field last season. He did not match his 2008-09 performance from 3-point range, connecting on 31 percent of his attempts last season, down from 40 percent.

Watson's contract is still being worked out, but it is believed to be a two-year deal for $6.5 million with a non-guaranteed third year.

The Bulls are expected to have $4.5 million to $5 million of cap room left after signing Watson.

With Carlos Boozer, Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver already having signed with Chicago, Watson becomes the Bulls' fourth significant addition of the offseason.
