COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Monarchs forward Rebekkah Brunson received a warning Monday for using asthma medication without getting the proper clearance from anti-doping authorities.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Brunson tested positive for Salmeterol on June 5. At the time of the test, Brunson did not have an exemption to use the medication.
It is Brunson's first doping offense, and she accepted a public warning.
