Just got an email from my ticket rep saying the Monarchs are going to be on a Wheaties box!!! She also attached the sample art of what the box would look like. I tried to paste it in here but couldn't. The .pdf file is 1.6 mb so you dialup folks would be hanging around awhile for it to download. It's not on the website yet either. PM me with your email address and I can email it to you, if your provider allows large attachments. The email doesn't say when it will be produced. And I'm sure it'll be mainly in the Sacramento area. Anyway, this is pretty cool!!!!!

Wow!!! That is so great!! I'm so happy and excited to hear that. I don't like Wheaties much, but I will definitely be buying a box now! I wonder when it will be released-just have to keep an eye on the supermarket shelves, I guess.

Awesome news! My guess that it most of the special Monarchs Wheaties boxes will sold mostly in the Sacramento area. Not sure if it will be sold in other states.

I can safely assume that it will NOT be sold in Connecticut!

Hmmm...the WNBA champions get a Wheaties box? Funny, I thought the league/Monarchs were a niche sport and had not earned the level of the media attention the league got. And if they are offering those in the Sacramento area, how many people are going to buy them since they barely register a blip in this town. I mean, that's what Marcos said...

And because it's such a niche sport, only the city of Sacramento will have the cereal. So forget about Elk Grove, Roseville, Rancho, Folsom, West Sac, Orangevale, etc....
