You meant to say "NCAA men's basketball" history.

Pat Summitt, the coach of the Univ. of Tennessee Lady Vols (women's basketball team), still has more NCAA coaching victories than Knight.

And she did it without throwing a chair across the basketball court!

You meant to say "NCAA men's basketball" history.

That's not correct either. Its NCAA Men's Div 1 basketball as there is a coach in a lower division who shares the wins record with Summit.

But no offense to Pat Summit or the Div 2 or 3 coach that are tied for the overall basketball record, Coach Knight's is the one that matters. Division 1 men's college basketball may very well be the most competitive college sports division in the entire NCAA, especially when you consider the time span required to achieve that record.

No I will as well. I love Bobby Knight, sure it has something to do with me growing up in Indiana... He's a hard A for sure but also a great coach, he graduates his players more then almost anyone. Now he has more wins then anyone else.

Would I send my kids to be coached under Knight. Wouldn't have to ask me twice... in a second
