best 2014 sequel movie you saw this year ...

Plenty of sequels were out this year ,

captain america winter solider
xmen days of future past
22 jump street
Annabelle ,
Dumb and dumber to
Sin city 2
Hunger games
Planet of the apes
Transformers
Purge 2
Amazing spiderman 2
And few more

Some of the sequels disappointed me..especially dumb and dumber to, both carry and daniels lost their character , but my favorite had to be captain american : winter solider..I loved the action sequences and the storyline was well made ...I can't wait till see the third one captain american: civil war

Well, I haven't seen a single one of those - I tend to avoid blockbuster style movies because I don't really enjoy them. My answer for the best sequel of the year (sight unseen) will obviously be The Hobbit - The Battle Of The Five Armies. (Yes, that's a blockbuster too, but Middle Earth trumps that.)
 
I have a few of those on the shelf, I have a hard time imagining most of them being great.
 
I'm more of a TV guy than a movie guy; something like 90 percent of the movies I watch are kung fu flicks.

The only 'new' movie I've seen in the past two years is Winter Soldier, so I guess I'll go with that one.
 
Lots of good sequels this year.

I'd personally go with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Then Winter Soldier, followed closely by How to Train Your Dragon 2 (don't laugh).

Haven't seen Hunger Games yet, but likely will.
