I'll be completely honest. While I love to talk hoops and love the NBA, there are times when I would really like to just forget about how great the almighty Lakers have been and how supercilious some of their fans can be.
My beloved Kings have suffered for a long, long time and their fans have suffered with them. For a very short period of time we've enjoyed a success we never thought possible. We still haven't won all the marbles but we've come close. Close enough to have our hearts broken...and yet we continue to believe.
Do you really have to treat the whole situation as something to make fun of and joke about? I love being a Kings fan. Granted, my team hasn't had the success of the Lakers so I can't be as smug and superior as you can. But I'm not on a Lakers board. You're on a Kings board.
Let us enjoy our victories. There's no need IMHO to try and make light of every good thing that happens to us and/or our team.
