Atkins re-signs with Grizz...

Sports Illustrated - The Memphis Grizzlies signed guard Chucky Atkins for another year, the team announced Monday. Terms were not disclosed.

He came to Memphis in January from the Washington Wizards . With the Grizzlies he averaged 11.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and three assists in 43 games.

"Having him and Damon Stoudamire as experienced point guards who can mentor our younger players is invaluable to this team," team president Jerry West said in a statement.

Gives them some more scoring and an experienced ball-handler off the bench that knows the system.

it sucked that the grizz picked him up last season because i picked up b-jax on one of my fantasy team to see his numbers go up then go back down when atkins was starting over him
