There have been some very exciting games within the last few days. Anyone following any teams closely? I'm pretty excited to watch the Vista,CA team because I grew up about ten minutes outside of the town. In their last game, their pitcher recorded 18 strikeouts! Hawaii is also a powerhouse outscoring their opponents 23-4 in their last four games. For me, its a ton of fun watching these little guys (some huge-6'5 226 lbs.) from all over the globe come together for the sake of playing baseball.

FAL, how is the salmon fishing on the river?
Went down there last week to see how the early salmon run was doing. They're coming up .... little guys right now ... 10-16 lbs .... chromer's

I've gotta go get my 2005 license .... restring all my reels.

Sept/Oct is when the big guys get here ..... 16-30 lbs ( ... and bigger)

Looking forward to a full freezer at the end of the season.

I am in Yuba City all reports are bad so far. Its tough going on the Feather and from what I read the American is one of the better bets.

I am just waiting for a few decent reports so I can get the boat out.

HEY we could have a KingsFAN Smoke off :) (Salmon that is... HAHA EASY SOME OF YOU)

The thing about smoking salmon is ..... they're hard to keep lit !!! ;)

You're on .... Like you, I've got my own SPECIAL MARINADE FOR SMOKING

I likes it HOT-N-SPICY ... with a little bit of sweetness and hint of asian flavor

The kid who struckout 18 also hit a grand slam in back to back games.

That reminds me: didn't one of the Little League Championship winning players from somewhere in the East Coast (can't remember which one) got into some controversy a few years ago when it turned out he was actually older (like 17 or 18) than he was supposed to be for his age group? I think he was a pitcher.

Looks like I picked a winner in Hawaii. Anyone see the final game? Unbelievable game. Came back 3 runs down in the bottom of the sixth to tie, won in extra innings with a walk of homer, congrats Hawaii!!!

That's the one! Thanks for the answer!

I remember reading that there was some controversy about a falsified documentation of his birthdate, to make him eligible to play in the LLWS. it really wasn't Danny's fault, because he didn't know about the doctored documents; it was the fault of his parents and their lack of communication between them and various hospitals, schools, government officials, etc.

Danny now lives in Miami, FLA.

Actually He's back in the Bronx. Just moved back. ESPNs Outside the Lines did a story on him last week. He was in a Pro League in florida but was kicked off because he only showed up 50% of the time.
