Lemme start by saying I am 100% computer illiterate, so this may be quite an easy fix...Anyways, please help!

My computer is a Windows XP Home Edition...The other day it just reset itself, and now every time we try to log on, it loads up to where you choose your account, and whenever you click the account to log into, the computer resets itself and the process just repeats.

I have no idea if this is a virus thing or something that needs to be manualy fixed from the inside...Im just clueless!

Anyways, any and all help is much appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Have you googled solutions? There are quite a few things it could be from a virus to bad hardware to just some of your Windows system files getting mucked up. If you have your Windows CD you can always try a recovery/repair installation.

Here is a link to steps to perform a repair install:

Also google "computer keeps rebooting" for other possibilities. Too many links to click on.
