Anne O'Neil, who was the Monarchs' 30th overall pick in last year's (2005) WNBA Draft, has returned to the team's training camp.
She suffered a stress fracture in her ankle during last season's pre-season training camp, and didn't make the team. Later that year, she served as an assistant coach with the Eastern Illinois University Lady Panthers.
Anne's teammate from Iowa State University, Brittany Wilkins, is also in the Monarchs' camp.
