Martin: Definitely. Mike Bibby, Chris Webber... they’re a veteran group of guys that know how to win. I can’t wait to get on the court with them.

You’ve been compared to Doug Christie, who’s now your teammate ...
Martin: Doug is a great all-around player. I’ve got an all-around game like he does. I’m definitely looking forward to competing with him.

If you could have one other player’s skill, what would it be?
Martin: I’d want Doug Christie’s defense. I feel that I’m there offensively, but I need to prove myself on defense. Doug’s a great defensive player, the best.

What’s the best dunk you’ve thrown down?
Martin: My junior year of college versus Asheville, it was an alley oop that I caught at my knees because it was a bad pass.

What was the worst haircut you’ve ever had?
Martin: Bald head. My forehead is kinda big, so I don’t look good bald-headed.

What’s the worst fashion choice you’ve ever made?
Martin: I don’t make fashion mistakes, I’m always on top of my fashion game. We hear you’re a big gamer ...
Martin: That’s true. I like NBA Live, NCAA Football 2005. I keep up on what’s coming out, definitely. I can’t be beaten.

Someone needs to tell him to eat 6 meals a day and work out 4 hours a day in the training facility...he's going to be something, if he just puts on 20 or so more pounds.
 
The Kings have him on a regimen which includes a chef who prepares his meals, and he does put in at least that many hours per day, any other requests?;)
 
Especially with Doug finally showing his age(or whatever it is)...we might need to give K-Mart a crash course to get him into the lineup sooner than later, at least by next season.

i'd love to see flash-mart ( it's a fusion of the name shaq stole, and k-mart, anyone like it? :D) get some meaningful PT. the garbage time stuff doesn't prove a thing.

if he's a future starter, i'd love to see him learning now rather then later.

Thats that 'crash course' I was talking about...question is, is he on the level to learn enough in that amount of time. Hopefully...we sure could use him next season.
 
Just for the record? The article may say his nickname is "K-Mart" but he has never liked it...

Of course, he has to be careful of that certain critical mass where your thinking functions become impeded by muscle and you throw punches uncontrollably.

Thanks! But I'll be the first to admit that I'm completely basketball stupid. Everyone else in the family knows all about the game, but I'm still learning, so if I say something completely off the wall, you'll have to forgive me.
