I saw some of that game, and was pulling for the Iversonless 76er's all the way. Their defense did a great job against the Mavs. That was a winning streak that I was glad to see come to an end.

Haha... Erick Dampier, 26 rebounds. But of course it's in a losing effort against a sub-.500 team playing without the guy who scores almost a third of the team's points.

Ah, that was awesome. I knew it was going down once it left his hands, though it was a crazy shot. Always count on Instant Korver!! :) Too bad it was still a loss. And tonights game was awesome too. Got the W! Go Sixers

I believe they play dallas twice in Feb. The 11th and the 24th. And don't worry about dampier and miller. If miller can hit those outside pops as well as he has lately the Kings will do fine. Dampier is overrated!

By then Nellie will be back and Dampier will again be ineffective. Since Avery Johnson has taken over as the head coach Dampier is averaging 10 PPG, 13 RPG, and 3 BPG at 59% FGs.

Nellie...the anti-center.

Kings are going to be fighting with Dallas for the rest of the season for the 4th playoff spot and homecourt advantage in the first round (probably against Dallas), so it's good to see Dallas get a loss. The Mavs shot uncharacteristically bad from the field (37% or so), and Dirk had to take 25 shots to get his 25 points (11 for 14 from the free throw line), which is quite unlike him. Finley took 23 shots to get 16 points or so...ugh.

Great statline by Dampier as well...shot the ball efficiently, had 10 offensive rebounds (!) out of his 26 total. Good thing Nellie doesn't like him...

Yeah, 10 offensive rebounds could be viewed as a good thing or a bad thing. Taking a look at Dirk, Fin, and Stacks lines, it seems to be a bad thing.

Yes, bad from the perspective that the team shot miserably from the field, but good for the Mavs' in a general sense that they now have someone really working on the offensive glass. I'm sure it will pay dividends in some other games this season, and if the Mavs had pulled out a win in this game, those 10 offensive rebounds would have had to have been viewed as a major reason why.
