Mister Slim Says:

HERE WE GO AGAIN! (Here we go again!)

SAME OLD SONG AGAIN! (Same old song again!)

MARCHING DOWN THE AVENUE! (Marching down the avenue!)

SEVEN MORE GAMES, AND WE'LL BE THROUGH! (Seven more games, and we'll be through!)

We've got another Tank-Off™! The Brooklyn Nets, who have lost ten games in a row. will host the Sacramento Kings, who haven't won a game since the last time they played... the Brooklyn Nets. Scott Perry took a glance at Brooklyn's injury report and said, "Two can play that game, you POS!" That being said, the only veterans available for the Kings this evening are Precious Achiuwa and Doug McDermott so, if the Kings win tonight, I kind of feel like you can't even say nothing... at least about this one specific game in isolation: why the organization waited this long to make these decisions is a separate discussion, one best suited for that other thread.

Play who you can, man, ****.

So many good options on the poll today. Wilson was the quirkiest bit. Kramer was the funniest, and I'm not sure it was close. Jefferson turned his neighbor gig into the biggest promotion.

But this has to go to the neighbor of all neighbors. Yes, Mr. Rogers, I would be your neighbor.

Not sure why it took me so long to pick up on the “thumbs up” issue on the board, thought I was pretty liberal with them, but +1 to Ned Flanders.

Another + 1 for good ole Ned!

I'm actually not working during a game for once! I may tune in to the tank-off just to see the kids play, but either way I imagine this thread is going to be a bloodbath after we're carried to a win by a 40 piece from Precious.

Kings with the “literally just the rookies and the guys we picked up as the season has gone on” roster for tonight’s game.

Was any (real) reason given for DeRozan's absence today? Or is it something vague like "hamstring tightness?"

As far as I can see, the Kings have nine men available.

This game is lowkey fascinating because all of the "good" players for both teams are out, so it's just a bunch of guys who are all trying to prove that they belong in the NBA. There's a sneaky kind of desperate energy in the game.

I'm more impressed that Greg McDermott got to keep his job at Creighton after Doug graduated, since getting his son to go there is probably the reason he got the job in the first place.
