I don’t think I can be bothered to watch tonight. If I see a beam out my window, fantastic. But if I don’t, I don’t even blame the team no matter how they lose. Two major soul-sucking losses handed to us by a 8-on-5 memo to the league that certain teams can’t win. They can come out with a chip on their shoulder, or just roll over and either would be an appropriate response.

Including this one, we have 11 home games left in the season. I accept nothing less than 11-0 record in them. Cause it doesn't matter if we play well on the road, sometimes we don't have a say in the outcome.
I'd usually agree with your assessment, but...We're 17-16 on the road, which is a respectable record to have. Now, if we were, say, 7-26 (or worse), then ok, you may have a point.

Same here. I skipped overtime and started watching Saturday nights UFC fights.
Tonight my wife will be watching her Below deck soap opera show and I’ll be out in the garage listening to true crime or a political podcast. Hopefully I’ll see the beam out west over my roofline tonight.

Our real season hasn't started yet.
MB - fired.
Fox's "situation".
Fox trade.
JV signing.
Domas injury.
Monk injury.

Under DC we are 10-2 at home. Under MB we were 6-12. 17-16 road record is nice, especially since we play in the West. Still, who knows what can happen on the road? We have tough home games ahead and I just want to emphasize that for us to make moves in the standings, make some noise around the league - winning at home is a must.
We lost 2 games in a row on the road. Next game is on Thursday, against Warriors.

The Kings have really been playing good basketball lately win or lose. The issue is having an insane schedule coming up, going to need to win some games we shouldn’t. I think a play in spot is pretty safe but there is a lot riding on the end of this season if reports are to be believed. I’m got my eye on 44 wins. That would be a tremendous success given the volatility of the season.

Honestly, 44 wins would be a bit difficult (but definitely achievable). At this point, I'm not concerned about our win total after game 82 of the regular season. I'd just like to see us host a home game during the play in tournament, and then host a couple of home games against the 1 or 2 seed.

Doing so against the 3 seed would be preferred, obviously, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves...:):):)

Man, I really hope we can find a way to keep LaRavia. His defense against Harden was as good as you can get against one of the greatest offensive players of all time. Hopefully he really enjoys being on the team and loves the fans enough that he takes a discount like Monk. If we get the a playoff spot or play in, hearing that “Arco Thunder,” would hopefully hit different for him.

I'd be surprised if there was a huge market for him. Maybe the Kings limit is right in the window of what a team would offer but all it takes is one team as they say. So far with the Kings he hasn't been in a really great showcasing role so that could be a good thing, lol.

a quick look down the standings and I just don’t see many teams that make sense for him. Second apron teams are out. Rebuilding teams are most likely out. The one that stood out to me is the Lakers. They are going to be all in on a championship next season and will need a center and one more bench for piece. Not sure if they will have a mid level or part of one or not. If I was a betting man, I’d put it at 70/30 he re-signs with Kings. He has been outstanding in his role and he is aware kings fans love him which is something he values.

I just checked recent Knicks games and oh boy - their schedule was BRUTAL. 9-7 in last 16 games (8-7 in last 15), tough Ws, tough Ls, couple times Knicks were blown out. Lost 3 games in a row, against usual suspects: vs Warriors, @LAL, @LAC. We have our own problems, but at least our game is coming around. Especially defense is really nice. Guys are scrambling, talking. Any player who plays good D is a high bbiq one. Any team, who plays good D is well coached.
Luckily, we got Monk back for this game. It's painful to watch our offense without Domas and Monk.
Anyway, Knicks are tired, hurt and on the road. Mercy kill them and get ready for the Thursday's game in the bay. Even if Domas can't play then - dress him up, register for the game and make them sit on the bench all the time. That's good old school psycho trolling ;)

A 1-1 deal most likely to get paid next year

If LaRavia does not play, could we see Doug McDermott? I am dying to witness him torching the nets sometime before the last five minutes of the fourth quarter. To do that, the Kings need to swing the ball around or actually run some plays for him.

He could be the X factor in this game.

This would seem like a game where maybe someone like Fultz could get some real burn to get in rhythm. The Knicks basically only play 2 real F's.
