Mister Slim Says: Twenty more games of this.

Kings return from a "moderately" successful (depending on your criteria for 'success' this season) five-game road trip to host the Suns, where they will be looking to avoid the regular season sweep. Phoenix is scrambling to avoid the play-in, so the Kings shouldn't even have to "tank," because the Suns are probably going to straight up beat them.

Reminder: this is a Peacock game, which means an 8pm (local) start time. Adjust your schedules accordingly.

Keep playing the kids.

Went with Master of Puppets. Not actually my favorite Metallica album, I'm a bit more of an ...And Justice For All/Ride The Lightning guy, but none of the other options jump out at me. I actually have a sort of a 20-year standing feud with a colleague of mine over whether ...And Justice For All or Master Of Puppets is the best Metallica drop, I'm sure he'd be happy to see me voting for "his side" here.

I also voted for Master of Puppets. Definitely more important than The Star Spangled Banner, Florida and women's rights.

Had to vote for the women’s suffrage March as definitely the most significant event, but I’m not gonna lie. I was heavily tempted to cast my vote for Cab Calloway and Minnie

I know the song that’s like bwamm dun bwahhmmm bwum bwahhhmmmm, bwamm dun bwahhmmm bwum bwahhhmmmm, something something something land! But had to go with freedom on this one.

We have a 25% chance of winning this game. The young guys must be getting better.

Carter is now up to 9 three-pointers made this season, two fewer than Raynaud, on 15.5% shooting. He needs to have a red light shining in his face whenever the defense leaves him open.

Overall, the Kings are dead last in 3-point shooting in the entire league, at 33.6%, just ahead of Portland, at 33.7%. It's a good thing that Sacramento also ranks last in 3-point attempts per game.

By the way, that goes for Russell Westbrook, too. He has attempted 341 shots from deep this season, the most on the team, but has only converted 33.4%, sixth on the team among rotation players (including Keon Ellis). That's 87 more than even Zach LaVine, and 98 more than Malik Monk, our best sharpshooter. Stop shooting from beyond the arc, Russell!

I saw on Facebook where tons of fans were wanting the Kings to sign him to a long term deal and make him a player/coach and all sorts of nonsense. Hopefully they were all just bots because it seemed like 90% of the comments favored Russ on this team.

You can't miss the ones you don't take.

In three minutes, Eubanks airballed a layup, tried backing a guy down from the three point line and got the ball stripped, then got posterized so hard it’ll probably be on his kids’ gravestones.
He's just playing to his part as the backup big for a 14-48 team.
