Mister Slim Says: Twenty-five more games of this.

Kings kick off a five-game road trip in (checks notes) Austin, Texas, to take on the San Antonio Spurs, Because of Reasons™. Now a two-time All-Star, former King De'Aaron Fox is having a very solid season, shooting the second-highest percentage of his career, both from 3-point range and overall, and averaging a career-low in turnovers. Fox put up a then-season high 28 points and 11 assists the first time these two teams met this season, and the Spurs were able to get the win against a relatively-healthy Kings squad (everybody was available except Murray) without Victor Wembanyama. This time, Murray is back, but everybody else is hurt.

The Kings will probably lose this game badly, which will make the pro-tankers happy. Hopefully Fox will go off, which would make me happy.

Keep playing the kids.

With Domas out Spurs and Monk and Keegan being erratic the Spurs will have more beam team minutes than the Kings will 😭😭😭
