Mister Slim Says: This is (at least) the second time in the last three games that the NBA.com preview described the Kings as "lowly." I find it to be... unpleasant.

Knicks will be motivated to get their lick back: prior to two weeks ago, New York had not lost to Sacramento since the Beam Team season. And with the Kings currently on their fourth five-game losing streak of the season, it's not looking likely that they will be able to play spoiler a second time.

LaVine and Monk have both been ruled out, so that should mean more minutes for Nique Clifford and, hopefully, Devin Carter as well.

Play the kids.

The incandescent lamp seems to be the very obvious answer to this poll. I mean, foundational event for modern civilization, or Laverne and Shirley? How can anybody choose?

Perhaps. Were I inclined to vote in my own poll, it would not have been my choice, though.

I was going to include Shrödinger's Equation, just for you, but it didn't make it past the second cut.

Yeah it's the obvious answer but I went with the Antarctica expedition. I've been watching expedition documentary videos on youtube lately and have a hell of a lot of respect for how tough a lot of these guys were back then and the conditions they had to endure just to survive.

Read "The Worst Journey In The World" by Cherry-Garrard. If nothing else it will cure you of any urge to go to Antarctica.

Jalen Brunson will be good to go tonight, so I expect another underwhelming performance by our pals in purple. But you never know.
But the Kings are also missing their tank commander, one Zachary Thomas LaVine. So maybe the ball will flow once again. :x

It's been over 50 years since the Knicks won a championship... I'm low key rooting for them to win one while Spike Lee is still alive because I know he'd be super happy and that's a pleasing thought. According to game logs, Devin Carter played just over 7 minutes the last time the Kings were at Madison Square Garden on January 25th of last year. He made one FG and two FTs. In the immediate future, I'm mostly rooting for more Devin Carter minutes.
