I am not going to vote. I said I'd like to see a 10 win improvement, but anything in the range of 35 was achievable and what I needed to see, and many here said I was nuts. I don't want to raise my expectations because of a hot start. That said, I am going to say a 10 win improvement from last year is entirely possible and what I'd consider a smashing success.
Totally possible. Chuck thinks so. Over 30 seems likely. That would be a huge improvement in itself.
Over 40 depends on few injuries and adjusting to other teams when they try to slow down the Kings.
I'd like to see him back, but I'm not sure if his pride could swallow it. However, he has been through all the crap times we have been and he would certainly deserve to be here as we hopefully become relevant again.
I certainly hope I’m wrong, but I voted no. I love the way they have started. I love the style of play, the intensity, the hustle, etc. I just feel the youth at some point will win out and they will have a rough patch. Either way, they are giving me sooo much hope. Ask me again if they make it out of the month of November at .500.
I'm just connecting the dots. Being a Cousins' follower, he becomes a Pelicans fan. Now that Cousins is with GS, he becomes a GS fan. If Cousins goes, say, to the Nets next year, I would expect he becomes a Nets' fan. Maybe when Cousins retires Brick will retire. I dunno....
I voted no for a couple of reasons. Other teams will be getting into better shape as the season rolls along and might be able to keep up a little better. There will be more scouting of our team and looking at ways to slow us down. And playing at this pace may wear down some of our players a bit. If Fox or one of the other major contributors get worn down/hurt, that could really put a crimp in what we are doing.
That, and being a Kings fan I have been well served by aiming low. If we do better than my meager expectations I feel great about it!
