I believe today's California Classic games are still at Chase Center. If there are any sites listing them in Utah, they are mixed up.

Edit - it looks like an old version of the NBA.com schedule (still in my browser!) was indeed mixed up and listed today's games as being part of the Utah Summer League. That is now fixed, but other sites may have relied on that bad info.

what a joke. They need to get the California classic back to sac next year. I understand it’s just a stupid early summer league game, but what is the ultimate point of having the event if fans aren’t in the arena. Who is this game ultimately for?
Wow, this is a complete joke. Somehow, I remember none of the California Classic games at G1C were "scrimmages" - and it's not like the round robin schedule was any different. If Chase didn't want to host the event (and man, from the commentary stylings of whatever-his-name-is and Tolbert, they sure as heck didn't want to) then why did they grab it away from us?

(I mean, side note, but Tolbert's continual commentary about not wanting to be announcing the games was really off-putting. So very off-putting.)

I remember reading on Saturday that game 3 was closed door. I had no idea what it's about or past formatting but it's rubbish either way. I've seen enough to know that the move did nobody any favors. I realize it was probably planned long in advance but certainly a team that just won the NBA finals a few weeks ago has limited interest in this vs. a non playoff location featuring a high lotto pick. Unless Sacramento had a reason to turn it down, was there something amazing at G1C this weekend? One of my dear friends from grade school who goes to all the cool concerts was actually here in London this weekend, knowing her it must have been Stones, GnR or both. Too depressed to look it up. So unless Macca was in town, that rules that out too.
