Even though the Monarchs have (so far) six losses to Detroit's four, the M's have jumped ahead of Detroit in the WNBA.com Power Rankings! The Indiana Fever are at #1.

To borrow Avis Rent-A-Car's slogan, we're #2, but we try harder!

It's not about where my favorite team is in the rankings, it's about my utter contempt for the entire concept. I don't hate them because we're not ranked #1, I hate them because they're Power Rankings... I hate ALL power rankings.
