Mister Slim Says: For all intents and purposes, the Kings have already been eliminated from the NBA Cup. Technically, they still have a chance, if they run the table and can pull into the Top 3 for point differential...

Good luck with that.

As an interested third party, what I'd like to see is more minutes for the young players, and hopefully some pride after that ass-whipping on Sunday. Chances we see either tonight? Probably as high as the betting odds for a Kings win.

EDIT - The poll felt a little personal so, for the first (and possibly last?) time, I decided to make it anonymous.

Last year in Minneapolis was the only time that I have had the privilege to see the Sacramento Kings in person. I just hope history repeats itself.

The team is still stuck at two wins for November. Time to get a move on. After that public tongue-lashing from the head coach, I expect more, way more, from whoever starts tonight. These guys do not strike me as the type to hang their heads in dejection, like so many Eeyores. And the kids look pretty darn good, especially when three are on the court together.

Hope they surprise you and the W tonight! I have no reason to believe in anything after thinking they’d show pride against the Hawks at home, but i hope Coach Christie shows us what he’s all about and sits some of those old starters down to start the game. Enough.

If his word means anything He has got to sit at least Deebo and Dennis.....

I am on the wrong side of 50 and if my 17 year old gives me grandkids in the next ~6 years I won't be pleased.

for that reason I opted for the 41+
I honestly have no idea how common it is for fifty-somethings to still have minor children (I'm only a year younger than you and my son is... older than yours) but, in any case, there's a maximum of 10 poll options, so I couldn't include but so many answers: I figured that 41+ was clear enough.

There haven't been many polls on this site for which I have been able to say this, but for this particular one, I can safely say that I would be thrilled to one day be able to say that the option for which I have voted in this poll is no longer valid. Unfortunately, if you ask me, based on the way things have been going for me, my chances don't look too good.

I think our gen was the mid point of folks that had kids early like our parents would do and folks that either didn't have kids or waited until mid-30s en masse. My son's mom and I were the first in our immediate peer group to have kids by about ~2-3 years. Many did not and are running around in their late 40s and early 50s like they're still fresh out of college.

It's pretty strange that the schedule has us play Minnesota three times in November and that's it for this season. I think the Kings will be the only team wearing purple on their uniforms tonight, so if Prince is watching, we know who he'll be rooting for...

Feels like the Kings matched up with the Wolves better than the others recently. Now to see what that stab in the pride results in.
